In October last year, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared that she had been diagnosed with myositis in an emotional post. In her detailed note from 2022, Samantha said: “Your response to the Yashoda the trailer was overwhelming. It is this love and connection that I share with all of you that gives me the strength to face the seemingly endless challenges that life throws at me. A few months ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myositis. I was hoping to share this after he went into remission. But it takes a little longer than I expected. I’m slowly realizing that we don’t always need to have a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something I still struggle with. The doctors are confident that I will make a full recovery very soon. I’ve had good days and bad days…physically and emotionally. And even when I feel like I can’t handle another day, that moment somehow passes. Guess that can only mean I’m one day closer to healing. I love you… THIS ALSO WILL PASS.
