They received their royal titles, but one thing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet didn’t receive was an invitation to their grandfather’s coronation – and apparently that might not happen, according to reports.

While their parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, received their invitations to King Charles’ coronation on May 6, their two young children were not included, according to The Sunday Telegraph.

When asked if the children, aged 3 and 1, were on the guest list, a royal source told the outlet that the couple are “very young”.

Harry and Meghan, who have sadly upset the Royal Family since their “retreat” from royal life in a move now known as Megxit, have yet to confirm whether they will attend the historic event.

Some suggested to the Telegraph Archie and Lilibet’s attendance would be discussed once Harry and Meghan make their own decision on whether to attend.

If the couple are coming they shouldn’t expect a warm welcome, a source told the Daily Mail.

The coronation of King Charles will take place on May 6.

“They will be greeted coldly by very many relatives. One of them said to me, ‘I hope they sit in Iceland,’” a friend told the outlet.

Two of Prince William’s children – Prince George, 9, himself a future monarch, and his sister Princess Charlotte, 7 – are expected to attend, while Queen Consort Camilla’s grandchildren are expected to play a role official in the ceremony.
