KXNG Crooked asks Joe Budden why he hates Logic’s music

KXNG Crooked has posed a serious question to former Slaughterhouse teammate Joe Budden in an attempt to find out why his recent tirade called for Logic’s retirement.

On Friday, March 10, Crook took to social media to find out why Logic’s music struck such a chord with the media personality.

“Why does this guy hate Logic’s music so much?” Serious question,” he asked Budden, before admitting that there are a handful of rappers he’d like to see throw in the towel long before the Maryland rhymer.

“These are rappers that I would love to retire waaaaaayyy before Logic,” he concluded — without specifying who they were.

The investigation follows the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcastin which Budden begged the Maryland rapper to “never go near a recording device again” after his sing-song cover of Ice Cube’s “It Was a Good Day.”

“Logic, I hate to continue to make a career at your expense,” he began. “I don’t hate it, actually. I’m glad to have a little list of you that I can – [laughs] it’s awful to say. One day I will grow up.

“Logic, please, please, please join me in the retreat. Never go near a recording device again! Throw your phone in the ocean! Be allergic to microphones! Do not promise anything to your fans! Never go to the studio again! You are the worst, yo! You’re really, really bad!”

Budden’s comments follow various jabs over the years, including calling Logic “one of the worst rappers to ever grace a microphone.”

Joe Budden & Royce Da 5’9 Review Former Slaughterhouse Members Joell Ortiz & KXNG Crooked’s New Album

Meanwhile, on Thursday, March 9, Logic apparently responded to the harsh criticism by sharing a TikTok video featuring a snippet from a 2015 interview where he explained he was a homebody who likes to be left alone.

“I don’t fuck with anyone at all,” he says in the clip. “It’s just me and my homies and my fiancée and my little puppy that I just had and I’m not fucking with anyone. I’m not going anywhere, I’m not going to parties. I barely go outside.

And, again on Friday (March 10), the rapper seemed to backtrack, nodding to one of Budden’s not-so-favorite lyrics in which he talks about being mixed race, when he included a screenshot of Budden’s screwed face on green screen in a new music video. “Logic is a half-breed,” he captioned the clip on Twitter.

There’s been nothing but bad blood between KXNG Crooked and Budden since the demise of their Hip Hop supergroup Slaughterhouse – consisting of Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, KXNG Crooked and 5’9″ Royce Da – after only releasing two studio albums. An event that KXNG Crooked once alleged was the result of Budden’s bad deal.

“We started Slaughterhouse in the beginning while waiting for Joe [Budden]“, he shared during an episode of The Bootleg Kev Podcast, early last year. “When we made our deal with Shady, we had a song called ‘Session One’ on one of Em’s projects. He was trying to get the band on one of his projects. I think it was a bonus cut or something on the albums. So we did ‘Session One’, and all Slaughterhouse fans know that Joe Budden is not in ‘Session One’.

“Joe got signed to another label and picked up some papers. They called Shady like, ‘Hey, we’ve got him under contract, you need to get a clearance from us for him to appear on the song.’ We’re all so-called free agents to sign that deal with Shady, and we found out Joe was on the paperwork, he said they forged his signature and it wasn’t him.

He added: “The band was put on the shelf for a minute as they fought the amalgam digital tag in court, and we were waiting for Joe because we couldn’t move on, and it took ages. month.”
